Instructions for Task: 

  1. Use class time to help students understand the history of Black teachers
  2. Introduce them to the archives 
  3. Ask them to investigate a teacher, school leader, or organization that was doing work that aligned with their own values 
  4. Students will embed their understandings into their own teaching philosophy
